November 10.1991-The normalization of Sino-Vietnam relations
November 10, 1991 (, Xinwei October fifth day), the normalization of Sino-Vietnamese relations. In November 1991 5-10 (on TodayOnHistory.com) General Secretary Jiang Zemin, Premier Li Peng invited, secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam Do Muoi, Chairman of the Council of Ministers Vo Van Kiet rate of the high-level delegation, China has made an official visit. Jiang Zemin, Li Peng and other Chinese leaders held talks with Do Muoi, Vo Van Kiet. The 10th Sino-Vietnamese joint communique said: Sino-Vietnamese summit marks the normalization of Sino-Vietnamese relations; territorial issues such as the border between the two countries will be resolved peacefully through negotiations; sides will in due course friendly consultation and properly resolve the problem living in the other country nationals . Vietnam also signed the Interim Agreement on trade agreements and dealing with border affairs.
