Chen Yu (1901-1974), born on November 11, 1901 in Baoan County, Guangdong Province, south end of Chen housing estates. Immature name Chen Xugui when workers renamed Chen Yu. 1924, he was appointed Director-General of the Federation of Hong Kong Chinese seafarers industrial. In 1925, he was appointed vice chairman of the Hong Kong Chinese seafarers Confederation of Industries, he served as the Chair of the Division of the Pacific route. In January 1931, the Fourth Plenum of the Party was elected as a member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee, Chinese Ambassador to the Comintern. In June of the same year, he was sent to the Soviet Union Lenin Academy learning concurrently CPC Lenin Institute of China, the party branch secretary. In 1934, Wang Ming clear the party's opportunity to take advantage of the Soviet Union, Chen Yu labeled as "rightists" and sent to Stalingrad tractor factory labor. April 28, 1945, Chen Yu capacity as representatives of the organs participate in the party's "Seven" elected to the CPC Central Committee alternate member. Northeast People's Government in 1948, he was Deputy Minister of Industry, Minister, to take over Shenyang, resume industrial production Shenyang, support the national liberation war. Congress of Guangdong Province in 1972 was elected secretary of the provincial party committee. Chinese Communists eight, ninth and tenth member of the Central Committee, the second and third National People's Congress, on behalf of the First Plenary Session of the CPPCC, a member of the second National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference and other duties. March 21, 1974, Chen Yu illness died in Guangzhou.
