April 30.1900-Hawaii became a U.S. quasi-state
In the first two days of April (Boxer), April 30, 1900, Hawaii became the quasi-state of the United States. Reference April 1900, Hawaii has now officially become the quasi-state of the United States. Hawaii has over the years by the chain of islands in the North Pacific Ocean, near the heart of the wish to become a part of the United States. In 1898, the United States agreed to the annexation of these islands and give the status of the territory of the United States. However, until this spring congressional decree to clarify the terms of the establishment of a new government in the island before. President McKinley had dominated the Hawaii becomes a territory of the United States, on the grounds that the Hawaiian islands is a natural gateway for trade with the East, and the military has important strategic significance.
