May 24, Iran announced that it has achieved one of the greatest triumphs of the bloody war with Iraq for two and a half. Tehran radio reported that the Iranian army has regained a major cargo port city of Khorramshahr. (History TodayOnHistory.com) If the reports are true: this will mean that Iran has regained almost all of the Iraqi occupation of territory.
Iran reported to produce a shock wave of the Arab world. (Lsjt.net) in the war within the Arab world has been different attitudes of different stand. Saudi Arabia and other major oil-producing countries fear that Iran's fundamentalist revolution beyond its borders, and has begun to fund Iraq. Syria openly supported Iran to provide Iran with Soviet weapons. These weapons have become a key Iranian victory in Khorramshahr.
