May 1.1922-The first national labor conference
May 1, 1922, the fifth day of April (Saigon), the first national labor conference. May
1922, on behalf of the country more than 110 trade unions and 173 delegates from more than 20 million organized workers, participated in the first held in Guangzhou National Labour Congress. In these representatives of Communist Party members, members of the Kuomintang, and anarchists. The Assembly is presided over by the secretary of the Department of the labor portfolio Director Chang Kuo-tao. The General Assembly accepted the Communist Party of China "Down with imperialism, political slogan," Down with the feudal warlords "through the eight-hour working day," strike assistance, "the National Federation of Trade Unions organizing principle" resolution. The General Assembly decided, before the establishment of the National Federation of Trade Unions, labor organizations and the secretary of the Department of the total communication organs for the National Workers Organization. The convening of the General Assembly, marking the Chinese working class began to move toward the unity and solidarity of the road, and laid the foundation for the unity of the Chinese labor movement and trade unions, to promote in-depth development of the first national labor movement climax.
