July 3.2004-The signing of the Amazon Cooperation Treaty
July 3, 2004 (Jiashen May 16), the Amazon Cooperation Treaty was signed.
1978, located in Latin America, the Amazon River basin in Brazil, Peru and other representatives of eight countries formally signed the Amazon Cooperation Treaty, composed of the Amazon Cooperation Treaty Organization. November 1977 to May 1978, Brazil, Peru, (L $ djτ.cōm) Bolivia, Ecuador, (L $ djτ.cōm), (L $ djτ.cōm) Colombia, Guyana, [τōdāyōńhī $ τōry.cōm] three preparatory meetings held with representatives of Suriname, Venezuela 8 Cooperation Treaty signed on July 3, 1978. Treaty emphasized that joint efforts between the States Parties, mutual support, exchange of experience and close cooperation in the area of scientific investigation and protection of the ecological development of natural resources, the construction of the water, land and air lines of communication, and communication facilities to promote trade and development of the border areas the tourism industry, in order to ensure balanced growth and the coordinated development of the economy of the region.
