1998 July 24, 2010, Japanese Foreign Minister Keizo Obuchi in the Liberal Democratic Party in both houses of the Parliamentary Assembly, the absolute advantage of the 225 votes against former Chief Cabinet Secretary Oyama static VI and the current Minister of Health and Welfare Minister Junichiro Koizumi, was elected LDP president 18. July 30, the new president of the Liberal Democratic Party, Keizo Obuchi was elected Japan's 84th prime minister in the interim parliament meeting.
Keizo Obuchi, June 25, 1937 was born in Gunma, Japan, graduated drought the rice paddies University and a graduate degree. In 1963, 26-year-old Obuchi won the the Gunma district council election, was the youngest Members.
1979, he entered the Cabinet, a former Office of General Services Executive, the Okinawa Development Agency Executive and the Chief Cabinet Secretary. In 1994, he served as the Liberal Democratic Party vice president, after he was named the Special chairman of the Liberal Democratic Party's foreign economic cooperation. September 12, 1997 as the Japanese foreign minister. Keizo Obuchi in 1990, 1991, 1993 and 1997, visited China four times.
