August 12.1905-The Norwegian referendum suspend its alliance with Sweden
August 12, 1905 (, Otomi July 12), the Norwegian referendum aborted alliance with Sweden.
1905 08 12, Norway by referendum suspended Union and Sweden. 368,208 votes in a national referendum, choose to abort Union, expressed the hope that the Union continue to exist in only 184 votes. This league can be traced back to the signing of the 1814 Norway at Swedish sovereignty Treaty of Kiel. Norway refused to accept the treaty. Therefore, the future relationship between the two countries has been quite tense, when King recently refused to approve a parliamentary proposal set up unilaterally consular agencies in Norway, the Government, through the collective resignation isolation.
