Three laboratories: Plateau National Advisory Committee for Aeronautics (NACA) Langley Research Laboratory, Lewis Research Laboratory, Ames Research Laboratory incorporated into NASA, renamed Langley Research Center (history com) Lewis Research Center, Ames Research Center. Edwards Air Force Base flying laboratory was renamed Flight Research Center, part of the Pioneer program of the Naval Research Laboratory classified of NASA Goddard Space Flight Research Center, set up in Maryland. June 1960 to take over the the von Braun leadership of the Army Ballistic Missile Bureau, the formation of the Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville, responsible for a large launch vehicle research program. Later, NASA also have adjusted to the formation of the Kennedy Space Center, Johnson Space Center, the spacecraft center. Today, NASA has become the aerospace and pioneer of human space exploration in the world.
