October 1, 1977 (Dimba August 19), the World Vegetarian Day.
North American Vegetarian Association was set in 1977, World Vegetarian Day on October 1 of each year. In 1978, the International Vegetarian Union agreed with this proposition, "In order to promote the joy, compassion and longevity of the possibility of vegetarianism. It brings a concern for humanitarian advantage of the ethical, environmental, health, and the vegetarian lifestyle. In the United States, about 100 million people a year to become a vegetarian. Similarly to promote vegetarianism, as well as the world's meat-free day.
